“Challenges and opportunities in a virtually and physically connected Europe: The need for criminology“
“The XXII ESC Conference will be held in Malaga, a beautiful city in Southern Spain.
Located in the Andalusian “Costal del Sol”, it attracts visitors from all around the world looking for some leisure time and its 245 days of sun a year. But make no mistake, its international airport, benchmark Technology Park and 36 000-students University offer a strategic triangle in which opportunities thrive.
… you may find yourself looking for excuses to spend some time here before you know it…
In the Spanish panorama, the Malaga Institute of Criminology was a pioneer in the Criminological discipline since its foundation 30 years ago. Ever since then, it has consolidated itself as a national and international teaching and research centre. Our policy-oriented research is our identifying mark as a token of our commitment with a more inclusive and fair society.
It is a challenge and an honour for us to host the 2022 European Criminology Conference, with a focus on the physical and virtual connections existing in our environment, even more so after this time of pandemic in which we have gone through a critical and unprecedented situations worldwide.
The Organizing Committee and the Board of ESC invite you to participate in this reflection forum to respond to the needs of current Criminology.”
